I love coffee, reading on the beach, and DC comic heroes Wonder Woman and Superman, even though my husband is an avid Marvel collector. Whether it’s in the Bible, books, or on the big screen, I love a good story!
Over thirty years of leadership – in the multiracial church I co-planted, in my current role as Pastor of Belonging, and as a community leader, I am passionate about living out the truth that we are fully known and loved by God, and sharing that love with all our neighbors.
While raising my four children, I read aloud tons of illustrated books at home and in their schools. And even though the kids are now adults, I care deeply about the messages our kids get about themselves and the world around them. I am grateful for the body of work I’ve published, giving children the kind of messages I wish I had growing up. As they see our shared humanity, I hope they grasp relevant messages that enrich their lives today and plant seeds that will blossom hope for tomorrow.
The next chapter of my book adventures led to me joining the Ami McConnell Literary Agency in early 2026. Having been served well in my own author journey by two wonderful agents, I look forward to giving strong representation to authors whose words positively influence culture today.
I continue personal development as a member of the Mid-south SCBWI and am grateful to serve as the Diversity Chair for Redbud Writers Guild.
